As the most eventful 12 months of my life draw to an end I feel like maybe its time to put something down in words
I never thought one year could teach you so much about yourself and everyone around you
And it all comes down to the fact that the people who truly love you will continue to do so no matter where on the planet you are
The measure of a true friend is someone who you can still have a damn good time with even when you’ve spent months apart
Leaving everyone I’ve ever known and loved behind was the most frightening and exciting thing I have ever done, and as it turns out also the most rewarding.
I know how lucky I am to have the friends, family and amazing boyfriend I have, even if sometimes I have to be reminded.
And although I may not always be smiling right now I truly am the happiest girl in the world.
