General Interests:
Nerdy stuff - I actually love my classes, so anything about psychology or neurons, brain structure, and physiology. I also love my research it's pretty cool and it's a good excuse for a state funded vacation (to present it at conference).
Theatre - I really want to get back into acting.
I love music (who doesn't?). I mostly like classic rock, but if I'm in the mood, I like rap, jazz, country, and some other genres.I'm a big fan of John Mayer, DMB, SOAD, The Eagles, Aerosmith, Cheap Trick, Goo Goo Dolls, Def Leppard, Counting Crows, Third Eye Blind, Oasis, Evan and Jaron, Snow Patrol, and lots of others!
Moulin Rouge anyone? I swear I'm not gay, I just really like that movie. I like a lot of chick flicks actually (I'm not building a very good case am I?) like Sleepless in Seatle (Tom Hanks is my favorite actor), How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, and Head over Heals "I'm a gonna have Red Beans for Dinner!" - is that the line? I haven't seen that movie in a long time. I pretty much like any movie though, that is unless it sucks. Generally sequals suck.
Family GUY!!!!!!! My current addiction, however, is Heros. It's on NBC. I hate comic books and movies based on comic books, but this show is freaking awesome. I'm also in love with 3 Lbs. It's a show on CBS about neurosurgeons. Pretty accurate so far, and definitely fits in with my classes ;-)

I like a lot of books some recent, and some classics: Da Vinci Code, Crime and Punishment (by Dostchoyevsky), Green Eggs and Ham, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, Chicka-Chicka Boom Boom, Goodnight Moon, Thinner and Pet Cemetary (by Steven King), Beloved (Toni Morrison - working on finishing), Civilization and its Discontents (Sigmund Freud), and just about any psychology textbook.
