About Me

About me? Well, I'm mid 30's, got a hot wife, a great daughter, decent job & I can still skate. Professionally, I am a Public Insurance Adjuster. If someone has damage to their house, stuff, business, etc. I help them present their claim to their carrier. You can't trust your insurance company to treat you fair, always have someone look after your interest. Other than that, I'm no fun.

My Interests

It goes beyond "We skated when we were younger". We have a personal connection & It's a bridge to a special place in our past. I'm 36 & I still skate. Not as good & certainly not as often, but I'll always consider myself a skateboarder. I read once that if you used to be a skateboarder, you never were one. You were just another kid with a skateboard. When I see a kid on a skateboard riding down the street, I smile. I love it. I love it because I know & share his love for that piece of wood. It is not football or baseball. Those sports are ok for folks that like it, but skating is different. There isn't a coach telling you how, where & when to play a position. There is no designated field of play, no rule book or umpire. No umpire telling you you're out or down or whatever. The only rules & regulations are your own abilities and limitations. This sport doesn't try to win by beating the compitition. In skateboarding you win by making yourself better, by using the energy of others to land certain tricks. When you land it, we all win. Skateboarding is quite simply the greatest sport on the face of the earth. I love the skate park cuz I can go there amongst mostly kids, still skate better that 90% of them there & they still say "yeah" when they see something cool I land; as I do for them. A fat little kid at the now defunkt Dunedin skatepark once said to me "Are you sponsered? You're really good for an old guy." I laughed. I asked him how old he was. he says "12" I said to him "you better hope you can still skate when you're 34.".. language="javascript" src="http://www.conservativepunk.com/bunkvoter.js"..
