Back to the regular Bio...
...The Cheaters Club is a duo with fantastic names, like Eon Fontes-May and Adam Kozak. Once, Eon was in some bands. He stopped being in bands once he bought an electribe and an ancient synthesizer, and decided to make his own music. He wrote and recorded a bunch of songs. Some friends helped him. Some people liked the songs a whole lot. Adam was one of those people. Adam was also in some bands and Eon liked some of those bands. Now they make music in a bedroom with lots of out-of-tune synthesizers, stringed things, modified electronics, and a despondent laptop. Sometimes they play these songs in front of people willing to listen. Contrary to popular belief, these songs are created and executed live.
And now we'll masturbate...
On QQROFL:
"The Cheaters Club brings the dirge. If you're ready for a downer of an album that's uncluttered by fussy arrangements or confessions of love, you could do much worse than QQROFL. If you're standing on a railing of the Golden Gate Bridge, it's probably best to go with something else."

"The best relationship of your life just smashed the last remnant of happiness you had left. You respond by squeezing out the very marrow of your soul with oils onto a large canvas, just before you head out to drink your sorrows away at the local pub with your buddies. If that emotional yet creative state could be recorded onto a disc it would sound like this. The raw and honest lyrics mimic the lines that rattle around inside one's own head that one would never dare tell anyone else."

"...extremely well put-together, drawing much production/thematic influence from folks like Trent Reznor and Nigel Godrich, and it oozes with euro-techno emotion and a jaded, chiaroscuro motif more characteristic of something like a Frank Miller graphic novel than a musical creation. The lyrics are deep, serious and generally depressing, over-analytical, introspective to the point of ill health..."

"...it is practically nauseating."
