PlayinJoJo.....What can I say...............Years of Blood, Sweat, and Tears..................... Built on the foundation of friendship..............Playin’ JoJo was not “one of those bands” who when you hear them you ask," Where have I heard this before?"Playin’ JoJo was created from friends, getting together from time to time to create good music......................Home for the band was located in the Vance/ Granville/ Warren co. areas of N.C...............So many friends have dawned the Playin'JoJo door, here is a quick rundown of the members who have come and gone over the last few years.........Playin'JoJo was founded by lead guitarist Barron Wilson, soon joined by long time friend Scott Jenks on bass and lead vocals. Then adding Steve Hoderfield on drums... Scott moved on.....Jon Adcock came in to fill the spot of lead vocals.....Phil Hill came in take over on bass........... This foursome went on to play show after show in the N.C. and surrounding areas for almost 2 yrs.......... Then Barron moved on....so did Steve.Wanting to keep the flame of "JoJo" going, Phil and Jon recruited long time friends Robin Owens on lead guitar, and Jason Pegram on drums..........This foursome went on to play several more shows untill .............Jason moved on.......Jason was soon replaced by Ken Currin on drums.....With Ken on drums, the fire of "Playin'JoJo" burned once more.Jon, Phil, Robin, Ken..........These four members carried the torch for several shows, but all good things must come to an end.All these members have moved on to explore other avenues of music, still holding on to the one thing that started it all...... friendship
