About Me

I have loved music my whole life. As a kid I took lessons on the piano, trumpet and baritone, But disliked practicing. I loved listening to John Denver, James Taylor etc., but loved Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Outlaws and Black Sabbath as well, and all things in between. At 14 I got a songbook that had song I LIKED, and already knew by heart. It had the pictures of the chords above the music! Been Playin' ever since! At 15, I took a poetry class, and found I could write a rhyme or two. And now I have about 80 of my own songs. Mostly Ive played solo. But Ive been with a few bands here and there. None worth mentioning! My favorite thing about playing... it's when I am playing, and I see someone GET IT! I love that! I am currently recording a project in colaboration with Ricky Thomas, of Automatic Black. The song is titled "The Long Road Home"! This is a rough mix, but I wanted to get it out.
The New Band will feature my brother J.P. on Guitars and Kurt Tompson on Bass, still deciding on a drummer. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope you'll stay and listen! !
