Laszlo aka Basic Instinct is not a new name to the music industry, though the project under this pseudonym only started in the near past. His earlier experiences include producing a vast amount of music under different artist names throughout various genres of electronic music: like electro, ambient and psytrance as Q-Tek, tech house as Clive Cortez or the harder edge of breakbeat as Basic Instinct to name a few.
Back in 2003 he joined forces with Breakbeat.hu (www.breakbeat.hu), the online hungarian breakbeat magazine to be the senior editor and to manage different sections of the mag. Later on he contributed in founding the Breakbeat.hu Workshop to help young talents showing off their music in the incubation of the magazines online platform. In the very same year, the workshop came out to attract a huge public interest so it was high time to go live on one of the in-house events of the magazines club series, called Hypnosis (http://hypnosis.breakbeat.hu). Basic Q-Tek Instinct was one of the successive performers of that night, presenting the cream of his past and present works, and also doing his debut in front of the local scene.
Since then he continues his work at the mag and finely ripens his sound. He concieves of his music as a hobby, and is not a man who polishes his glory and spams around the whole industry with his productions: this may be the reason you havent yet heard about him but some say time has changed...
