About Me

Up The Cathedral is a rock band located in Hammond, IN, about 15 minutes from Chicago. The band is comprised of four talented young musicians: Kevin Mackowicz (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Bryan Pirosko (lead guitar), Sara Bustos (bass guitar, vocals) and Roye Robley (drums). The group originally formed in 2005, but Sara, Up The Cathedral's newest member, joined in 2008. Each band member has a myriad of musical training under his/her belt—from private lessons, to collegiate edification.
Up the Cathedral's fan base is steadily growing--thanks to their infectious hodgepodge of pop, punk, jazz, and metal originals and their spirited live performance. The group's goal: To prove to their audience that they are the next big thing in the Chicago music scene, even if it means being a tad competitive in the process.
