I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am 34 years old, a mother of three girls, bartender for a living, friendly, upbeat person most of the time. My favorite things in life are sunshine filled days, long car rides with no paticular destination, dancing around the house with my daughters, attending Everett Silvertips games, reading a good book, a good comedy movie, trying something new with someone who enjoys an adventure, and true honest friends. My least favorite things are rude people, people with no morals, rush hour traffic, non tipping customers, not enough hours in the day, the price of gas, and hangovers. Things I've always wanted to do, and I'm optimistic I eventually will do... Skydiving, Carribean Cruise, & Ireland.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who is basically a decent honest person. Not a saint. Just a good person at heart. Sense of humor is always a huge plus, as I love to laugh! If you're someone who can play in the park with the kids, be totally spontanious once in awhile, but still stay on track for planned events, have a zest for life, and always wanting to improve your life in all areas, I will most definately get along with you.Betty

Music:

Almost all kinds. I don't really care for loud, abrasive, angry metal songs. I do like alot of metal, but if I can't understand the words, I'm bored and annoyed by the music. If it's got a great dance beat... I'm all over it. If it has a sentimental feeling behind it, I'm there. Gretchen Wilson to Eminem to Metallica and all the way back to 70's disco. I pretty much like it all.Guns of Nevada Rocks!!!

Movies:

I'm a ridiculous sucker for the Lifetime Movie Network! That might put me in the "dork" category, but I don't care. I love those damn movies! I also like scary (but not overly gory movies) If it makes me jump in my seat... I love it! Ya seen "Hostil"? That made me jump! I also love comedies. Even stupid, silly ones like Adam Sandler and all those "Scary Movies."

Television:

This is where I'm lacking. As a single mom, and mother of three, and a bartender, I miss alot of the really "good" shows, because I'm working when they are on. However, this is what I am currently into..."Heroes" (Best new show in a long time) "Deal or No Deal" (Takes no talent whatsoever to win) "CSI" (all 3 versions) "Law and Order" (all 3 versions) "Wheel of Fortune" (I'm really good at that game!) "Deadliest Catch" (Did I spell that right?) "Sportcenter" (ESPN I am a girl, but I still like it) "Side Order of Life"href="http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vd3d3Lnppbmdmb 28uY29tP3ppbmc9M2E5NDFhNDY2OTE0MmE4YzRhYw==" target="_new"

Books:

If it was written by Dean Koontz... I know I'll like it, even if it's one I havn't read yet! And as a mother, I enjoy introducing my kids to Judy Blume, because I loved her as a child. And Anne Rice, (although obviously twisted in the head by some of her books) I love her too!

Heroes:

Hailey, Alex, and Jordan. (My daughters are my heroes.) And if you need a real person that you might know. I adore Oprah Winfrey. The woman was raped at 12, became a newscaster at 22, and is now one of the most respected woman in America. She is smart, witty, compassionate, and genuinely cares about people. She is the closest thing I have to a hero besides my girls.

Work: It's that thing you do to pay your bills. For the most part, I enjoy my job. It's hard sometimes. You might go 5 or more hours without a chance to use the restroom, take a smoke break, or ...
