I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Very Married and head over heels in Love with my husband, Tony. We've been married for 25 yrs. and I adore him more now than ever. We have 3 great kids. Brandon, who is married to Tara and they have given us the most adorable granddaughter, Alicia. Dustin 23 and Jesse 13. We've been very blessed to own and run our own business, with all of our family working from home together. We decided to do a spot on My Space so family and friends can come to this spot and catch up on our family. Since we're so far from home it's hard to keep in touch with everyone and this seemed like the easiest way.Life shouldn't be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather, to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly shouting, "Wow! What a ride! Thank You, Lord!"

My Interests

Homeschooling, Church, Reading, Good Movies, hanging out with family, surfing the net.We also foster for a local puppy rescue. [email protected] If you live in the area look us up. Our animals are never kenneled and we start the training process immediately. So your pup comes with a head start on being an awesome family member. We always need new foster parents so if you think you might be interested in something like this contact me and let me know. Comedians, Jeff Dunham, Louie Anderson (wish they'd clean up their language though) Mike Joiner. The Blue Collar Team. Mainly, Jeff Foxworthy and Bill Engval. Because they are the cleanest of the 4. We are serious red necks!! And LOVE to laugh! Especially enjoy the older classic comedians like Victor Borge, Jack Benny, Abbott & Costello, Jerry Clower, Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin (when they were together)there was real talent back then. No vulgarities. Just plain, CLEAN FUN!! Humor and laughter keeps you young. Life may be a serious business, but laughing and forgiving others through it sure do make it a lot more bearable and fun!!:o)

I'd like to meet:

Family and friends that we've lost touch with. Friends and Classmates from Findlay High School, Heritage Christian or Cory Rawson (my schools) in Findlay & Rawson, Ohio. Or Bluffton High School in Bluffton, Ohio (Tony's School)

Your Love Style is Agape
You are a caring, kind, and selfless partner.
Unsurprisingly, your love style is the most rare.
You are willing to sacrfice your world for your sweetie.
Except it doesn't really feel like sacrifice to you.
For you, nothing feels better than giving to the one you love. What's Your Love Style?

Music:

Christian Rock, DC Talk, Audio Adrenaline, News Boys,Code of Ethics... New Country, Trace Adkins, Toby Keith, Martina McBride... Pretty ecclectic. Really enjoy the 70's and 80's rock Journey, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, a lot of fond memories wrapped around some of their music. Although I'm not so happy about the fact that they are considered the oldies now. They are NOT oldies!!! They're classic!! (Just a little denial going on here!!!:o) Absolutely can't stand rap or anything even close to it!!

Movies:

Comedy's, Adventures, Mysteries, Family and some Sci-fi. The Princess Bride (ultimate feel good fairy tale). Ferris Buellers day off. LOVE the moral. Learn to think outside of the box and take time off for some fun once in awhile! Life just passes by, WAY to fast! Most anything done by Mike Myers. He's just to funny!!! LOVE old movies. Back when Men were really MEN and Women were really Women. Before society had to go and blur the lines between the two.

Television:

Absolutely HATE reality TV. PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!!! I'll be thrilled when this little tv fad is over!!! Sick to death of perfectly good shows being cancelled for some stupid new reality show that is not even CLOSE to reality!!!Really like....Bones, House, Psych and Monk. To funny, especially since my family is always teasing me about being a weeeeeee bit on the OCD side. I'm NOT OCD, I'm quirky LOL! CSI'S. We also enjoy the Learning Channel, Discovery, National Geographic etc. We love to explore, learn and try new things. Comedians, We love to laugh. We get the majority of our entertainment (when we have time) from T.V. Running our own business doesn't give us a lot of down time right now.

Books:

The Bible first and foremost. How do you compare anything to the Word of God!!?? Next would be Christian living books. I'm always reading and trying to find new ways to be a better wife and mom. Next, just for fun reading would be...Mystery's, thrillers and just about anything by Joanne Fluke, Frank Perretti, Mary Higgins Clark, Terri Blackstock, Evelyn David. I don't really care much for todays romances as they get really smutty but I love the old fashioned ones. Especially Grace Livingston Hill. Her books are truely timeless masterpieces! I absolutely LOVE to read! Just don't have enough hours in the day to do it as much as I would like!

Heroes:

God first of course but I don't really consider him a "hero". He's my God, my Father, my Savior! He's definately a "Hero" in the sense that HE paid the ULTIMATE price by sacrificing HIS life for me. But the word "hero" seems to bring Him down to less than He truely is! He is so much more than that 1 word could ever describe! After Him, I only really have 2 hero's. I think it's dangerous putting people on a pedestal. We are all entirely to fallible. But, here they are: First would be my husband. He's a very strong man (in every way) that's triumphed through a lot (including dealing with me for 25 yrs.) and still keeps an unbelievably positive attitude. He really tries to be there for me, as much as I will let him (I can be a little difficult at times) and works very hard to be a good provider for his family. I really hate the way the world throws around the phrase "soul mate" and then they move on to the next "soul mate" as soon as they get bored or things get a little rocky. A true "soul mate" is someone that is willing to stick it out with you. Through thick and thin, no matter how rocky the road gets!! That's what I've got with him. I pray everyday that he realizes just how much I really LOVE and ADORE him! My second hero is in plural form. Our American Military!!! My dad served in the Korean war and I have several relatives on both sides of the family representing every branch of the military. Some branches several times over. These guys and their families are REAL heroes. They sacrifice and literally put their lives on the line everyday so we can all have the safety and freedom that we take, so much, for granted! Every time you run across one of our AWESOME guys in uniform be sure and let them know how much you appreciate all that they do for us. They don't get nearly the PRAISE and APPRECIATION that they so richly deserve!!!!
You Are 93% American
You're as American as red meat and shooting ranges.
Tough and independent, you think big.
You love everything about the US, wrong or right.
And anyone who criticizes your home better not do it in front of you! How American Are You?Some heroes wear capes.... My Heroes wear Kevlar
