Fortunately for me singing and songwriting have always gone hand in hand. To date ive probably written about 50 odd songs however only a fraction of those 50 songs have been recorded. Being in the studio is an experience I enjoy but 4 me nothing compares 2 peforming live on stage! Being on stage in front of an audience is what its all about, theres somthin special about the bond thats created between peformer and listener. This year I'll be looking 2 take my music to the next level both in terms of artistry and my career. I'm always keen 2 calaborate with like minded musicians, so if ur involved in music in ne way feel free 2 contact me... Along with songwriting and singing, I also write poetry and stories. Last year i completed my first full length book ("The Ka-Zimba Rangers!"). An Afrikan adventure story that chronicals four young children with special powers in their search 2 bring about peace 2 their troubled kingdom. Here's a brief extract_____________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________ _______________________ “My lord,” spoke Shola in a low whisper sounding similar to the hiss of a snake. His purple eyes now completely black, a sign he was looking with his inner eye. “I have seen deep into the future of Zimba but my vision has been clouded, covered by an ancient magic but what I have seen will bring doom to your rule. In Zimba there are four special children, young, babies. If allowed to grow and harness their potential they will become mighty, so mighty that when they choose our dark era will be ova!” Shola’s eyes returned to their natural purple. Levi looked around the throne room nervously, his head twitching. Fear had consumed him. “Where are they now? These children? We must Find them and…” “My vision was clouded by an ancient magic,” repeated the witch man “an unknown force is protecting these four from my gaze” Levi gave out a roar that shook the room. Fear had now been replaced with anger and hate, the same anger he had felt all those years ago when he learned he would never be king. “Those brats will not over throw me! I am rightful king of Zimba! I will kill them first! We shall begin a great raid of Zimba all children under a certain age shall be killed! Parents that do not co-operate will face the same fate. I will not give up my throne!” “Sire to do that is madness you will decimate the population of Zimba!” “I am the population of Zimba!” Shouted the king “I am to sacrifice the blood of 10,000 in a great temple. The children will be first! I shall kill two-” “Birds with one stone.” Whispered Shola as he smiled. Evil laughs filled the palace. And so began the dark raids, raids that brought fear to the heart of Zimbians. Over the coming years thousands of innocent children would be killed in the search for the elusive rangers.
