A boy sits in his room. With unseen tears running down his face. Not about to end any time soon. He sits on his bed, and reaches under his pillow. He pulls out that hidden notebook with the pages filled. Page by page he rips them out, the memories of her, good and bad. The only person he ever loved was this girl. He kept tearing at the pages, trying to let the feelings go, trying to forget the girl who just shattered his heart into pieces. Not too far away from that boy's home. Sits a girl, all alone. With music blaring and tears not heard. Her head is down, actions speak louder than words. Her hair falls down, all over her face, so messed up so misplaced. Unheard tears streaming down her face, as if they will never end. She understands that things will never be the same. She takes out her notebook and a pen. Starting to write of anything that comes to mind. She tries not to think about the boy...because the only pain worse then having your heart broken...is breaking your own

It's not about getting a scholarship, getting drafted, or making Sports Center. It's a deep need in us that comes from the heart. We need to practice, play, to lift, to hustle, to sweat, to compete. We do it all for our teammates. We don't lift weights with a future Olympic wrestler; we lift with a future doctor. We don't run with a future Wimbledon champion; we run with a future CEO. It's a bigger part of us than our friends and family can understand. Sometimes we play for 200,000 fans, sometimes for 25. But we still play hard. You cheer for us because you know us. You know more than just our names. Like all of you, we are still students first. We don't sign autographs for money. But we do sign college applications, SAT exams, and student body petitions. When we miss a kick, or strike out, we don't let down an entire state. We only let down our teammates, coaches, and fans. But the hurt in our hearts is the same. We train hard. Lift, throw, run, kick, shoot, dribble, swim, and lift some more, and in the morning we go to class. Still the next day in class we are nothing more than students. It's about pride; in ourselves, in our school. It's about our love and passion for the game. And when it's all over; when we walk off that court or field for the last time, our hearts crumble. Those tears are real. But deep down inside, we are very proud of ourselves. We will forever be what few can call ourselves.. high school athletes
It's those days where we sit around & do nothing. It..s the moments we laugh so hard, we cry. It..s the way we look at each other & know what..s going on through each other..s head. It..s those stupid pictures and jokes. Those are the reasons why we..re best friends

So basically this boy has my heart. He comes into a room and suddenly everything in my world is right again. He makes me soo happy. It makes me sad that he is scared that i'm going to hurt him. I know I am not the smartest person, but I am smart enough to know when I have the real deal right in front of me. And I know that he's it. For once in my life, I don't look at everyone else and wish that my boyfriend did for me what their boyfriends do for them... Now i'm the one that people are looking at. He's just that perfect. Sam- She is seriously amazing. She's my best friend by far and she probably always will be. We've been friends since the 9th grade and we're in 11th now. I know thats not that long but she's here to stay. They say some people come into your lives for a season, and some people come into your lives forever, and i'm pretty sure she's gonna be here forever. She keeps me down to earth, and she's probably the only reason i'm still in school. She tries to help the best she can with as much as she can, and sometimes she just needs to realize that her presence is enough, and when all she can do is be there, she's there all the time. Jess- Me and this girl have been through hell and back, but the best part is we did it togeather. We've known eachother since we were in the 3rd grade, but didn't get along till the 6th and have been best friends ever since. When we were seperated in the 8th grade, she went to cougar mountain and I went to bethel, we thought we wouldn't be friends anymore, not being able to go to the same school... When we were re-united in the 10th grade, we again didn't know if our friendship would survive being around eachother every single day... Nobody else had much faith in us either. There was a breif time period where we didn't talk for a while, but look at us now... as inseperable as we were before. I'll always be there for her, and she'll always be there for me, its how our friendship seems to work. I love you Jess!! haha.
Ari- She's my step sister, but I couldn't think of her more as my sister if we shared blood. She really is my hero... What she's been through is amazing, she's had problems and over come them, and come out of a bad situation in a better state of mind then when she went in. I love you Ari. lol.
Jon- My best guy friend, he's sams equivelent in guy form. He's amazing. He tries his best to make a bad day good even when he can't do that for himself. He's funny, and he'll always try to make you laugh. He normally puts his friends before himself in that kind of situation. He's the person that when something bad happens, he's the first one you run to for comfort, and he's always there for that. Any girl that ends up with him in the end, weather it be me or some other girl, I hope they realize how extremly lucky they are. I love you Mr. Jonathin!!
Crystal- Latley I think we've been joined at the hip. (When your not at work that is)I love you with all my heart and I want you to know that no matter how close all the rest of us are, me and you will always be close.
