Slambo

I love drawing and other forms of art including working with stoneware on a wheele and handbuilding. For my senior project in college I created a crossection of a forest through fabric and stone and then hung my artwork of tree related peices within the space. My favorite art related interest is also my business, which is working with color, texture and patterns in personal spaces. I love great fabrics and mixing them in together to help someone express their own personal style through their home. Of course that happens with other things too like paint and the like - but I love fabric.Creativity of thought and analysis of how the world works in theological and philosophical terms is a life long interest of mine - one that I studied in college. Thinking about the world and its meaning through the vision of others and how that creates a multifacetted perspective of interlinking ideas completely blows my mind. Especially when we live in a world where the media tells us how different we all are - unconnected. Anyway, that's a bit deep.I LOVE music. I love listening to it and when I had instruments to play I LOVED playing them. I played the piano from the time I was 4 till now if I had one to play. I played the trumpet/cornet from about 10. I have always dreamed of playing hand drums - but am really to embarassed to actually do it in front of anyone. But I do have some. I also have some Barimbous (not how it is actually spelled). And I enjoy playing them. They are a traditional Brasilian instrument - learned when I was there.
