About Me

Oh, what to say, what to say...I work in the environmental field. My job is frustrating, but, at the end of the day, I feel I'm making some bit of difference. (At least, I like to think I am.) There's nothing better in life than a cool, crisp gin and tonic. That should give you some indication of how my life is going right now. I'm originally from Michigan and miss it very much. If there's anything else you'd like to know about me, just ask. If you can name the song which features the lyric of my headline ("I couldn't ever bring myself to hate you as I like"), you may be my best friend for life. Quite a place to find yourself, eh?

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Hanif Kureishi, Bill Clinton, the Kings of Leon, Kasabian, Jarvis Cocker, Ian Brown, Carl Levin, Gael Garcia Bernal, Richard Ashcroft, Jimi Goodwin, Robbie Williams, Cillian Murphy, Hugh Laurie, Kenneth Branagh, Stephen Fry, Helen Thomas, Helen Fielding, Al Franken, Al Gore, Julian Barnes, James Joyce, Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, Jason Pierce, Emily Bronte, Charles Dickens, John F. Kennedy, Prince William, Mr. Darcy, Willy Wonka, Michael Hart (Michigan's runningback, not my brother...I've already met him), Brendan Shanahan, Mike Modano, Kirk Heinrich, Marcel Proust (I don't know why...I've never read anything by him), Jim Leland, The Queen (yeah, that would be neat), Morrissey, Frank Lampard, Daniel Craig, Peter Crouch, Bill Richardson.

The tube comes out tomorrow...

Hello all blog readers!  Some of you may have heard...I had to have surgery in August to have my gall bladder removed.  Don't worry...I'm ok.  Anyway, I now have a tube stuck in my bell...

La dee da

You know, I really wish I had high speed internet.  This dial-up business is for the birds.  On the other hand, the dial-up is free, so I suppose beggars can't be choosers.  I'm reading...

Um...this is my first entry...nothing spectacular, as you can see.  Just drop me a line, and if you are viewing my profile, send me a message (unless it's really vile, then don't bother...maybe i...
