A good time high energy band that performs a diverse schedule of events and venues, and has the experience to do a great job in every situation. The Lonewolves specialize in traditional American music covering the genres of Blues, Rockabilly, Rock and Roll, and Classic Country. We’ve shared the stage with Internationally known artists The Drifters, The Nighthawks, and Danny Gatton. As well as, Danny Morris Band, Linwood Taylor, Johnny Artis Band, The Roadducks, Jimmy Cole, Automatic Slim, Rich Chorne, and Grammy nominated Recording Artist Marge Calhoun. PUBLIC SERVICE Doug Parks & The Lonewolves was awarded the Vietnam Veterans Institute’s “ Medal of Honor” for our work in support of Veterans rights, including performances at the Patriot’s Gala with The Drifters, and our appearances at “ROLLING THUNDER” at the Lincoln Memorial, on the Mall, in Washington D.C. For audiences of over 100,000. The Virginia State Senate cited the band for our fundraising efforts aiding the American Red Cross,Muscular Dystrophy, and the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation. We take part in the Washington Area Musician’s Association’s “ Crosstown Jam”, which features many of the Washington D.C. area’s premiere musical acts. Doug recently performed at the March of Dimes “ Biker’s for Babies” fundraiser. Doug has also committed to an event to aid Katrina victims. Resides in Falls Church City, in Virginia, Doug started playing guitar and bass at 6 years old, and been performing throughout the Mid Atlantic since he was 13. At 44, he has spent over 30 years entertaining audiences. Through working a diverse schedule of events and venues, his experience as an entertainer helps him select the proper instrumentation for your needs. Recently Doug’s focus is leaning towards Blues and Roots Rock and Roll. However, Doug’s acts feature a huge diversity of material. His main influences are: Albert King, Brian Setzer, Danny Gatton, The Nighthawks, Hank Williams JR. Elvis, Jerry Reed, B.B.King, and The Fabulous Thunderbirds. ROY LEE BRANHAM JR. Vocals, and Harmonica. Resides in Ellicott City Maryland. Roy is originally from Alexandria Va. Recently, he returned to the area after nearly 3 years of living and performing throughout Florida. Roy was featured by 29 National Blues Artists while in Florida, which included Spencer Davis, Big John Jackson, and the son of Muddy Waters, Big Bill Morganfield. Roy is on the “House Of Blues” player roster. He also is in “Blues Unchained” WARREN WOOD Vocals, and Bass Guitar. Resides in Manassas Park Virginia. Warren has over 25 years of experience performing throughout the Mid Atlantic Region. Warren is a rock solid bassist and an exciting performer, He also is the bassist for the T-Birds. JOE CASTELHANO Drummer. Resides in Purcellville Virginia Joe returns to the band after 3 years on the road with “Built For Comfort”, A Nationally known Blues act based in Syracuse NY. Joe has performed with Bob Margolin, Mark Wenner, and The Nighthawks.Joe brings a youthful energy and a passion for music.
