Was trained in music at a music school after T. Chukhadjyan, then went on with a music college after Romanos Melikyan. Attended the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas.
In 1996 participated in the “Moskva 96” (“Moscow 96”) festival and was awarded the 1st prize.
In 1997 won the 1st prize at the “Big Apple” festival in New York, USA.
In 1998 was acknowledged as “the best author - performer” at the “Ayo” author’s competition.
In 1999 was nominated for “The best singer” award.
In 1999 recorded his first CD called “Romances” in which Armenian “city” songs were included.
In 2002 he was nominated for different awards at the “National Music Competition”:
“The best singer”
“The best project”
“The best album”.
In 2003 – “The best DVD”In 2003 he gave his first solo concert at the “Alex theatre” in the USA.
Later on May 27, he gave a solo performance in Yerevan and recorded a DVD called “Live concert”.
In 2003 he recorded his first author’s CD called “Noritz” (“Again”).
