Mondo

Mondo is an acoustic duo consisting of Magnus Gylje, 32, from Upplands Väsby, a suburb to Stockholm in Sweden, and Per Eirik Vigmostad Olsen, 31, from the small island Tjøme in Norway. We met when we both studied in Edinburgh 2001 and we have played our songs in bedrooms, bathrooms and on balconies in Pisa, Oslo, Uppsala, Stockholm, Lisbon and Edinburgh.In November 2004 we headed for the small island Vätö in the Norrtälje archipelago in Sweden where we recorded our first songs. We’ve been back every year since then. searching for lyrics and lonesome melodies in the calm surroundings, and we always seem to find something new.In Mondo, Per Eirik sings and plays guitar and piano while Magnus plays lead guitar, piano and does some backing vocals when he has the courage.Hopefully these songs will warm you in the dark.
