As the daughter of a musician, I had my first experience on stage at the age of five. I’ll never forget when I had a hiccup in front of the microphone and hundreds of grown-ups were laughing at me. So I ended up writing first…
I was traveling a lot and experimented with different kinds of styles of music, performing together with African hip hop artists, writing and singing songs for Brazil samplers, and collaborating with renowned producers as singer and songwriter of techno music for the German labels Mute Records and Ladomat. I love to empathize with different grooves and sounds.
Currently I'm working on my first own album with the working title “Novelettes of Love”, developing lyrics that deal with the abundance of feelings occurring in our daily lives, from joyful to rather brain teasing. Basically most of them somehow are leading back to love. I’m still trying to find out…So far provision is made for a downtempo electronic concept album. Although I’m writing all songs by myself on guitar and piano, I need the help of like-minded souls. Classical and blues instrumentalists as well as experienced and reliable producers of pop music are invited to join up.
