I am constantly reminded that in order to have true joy and happiness there has to be less of me and more of Jesus Christ. He is my savior and best friend. I am thankful for His love for me and I try to live my life to the fullest for His name. He has changed me and I will never be the same. I don't want to be the same tomorrow as I am today. I am learning now that in life, through the hard times (which are many) and through the best times, that when my eyes are focused on Christ things will be peaceful. Having faith and believing that God is who He says He is, gives us peace. John 16:33 has become one of my favorite verses. Jesus is speaking and He says, "I have said these things to you, that in me you have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." Life for me has it's ups and downs just like everyone but overall I am a spoiled american who has a roof over my head and a drink of water anytime I need it and I give God the praise for giving me the life I have.
