I enjoy a LARGE dose of Ryan Adams, with a similar quantity of the mighty Sufjan Stevens. My admiration for Joni Mitchell is forever present with my dancing, which is only unveiled after a alcoholic beverage or two. I’d never say no to one of the many Radioheads masterpieces. I’ve being brought up with The Boss aka Bruce Springsteen playing at any possible opportunity. I hate how all the greats seem to be lost. Elliott Smith and Jeff Buckley. Who are never far away from my Ipod’s ‘most played’ list. Bright Eyes, who also feature highly on the same list are a favourite. When feeling a little bit more like an indie chick, I wont say no to a Preachers son! Or four, in the shape of King of Leons. Bloc Party and the Arctic Monkeys are my NME favs. I’m totally into fellow red heads, Regina Speckor, Kate Nash and Jenny Lewis, who fronts the amazing Rilo kiley. I’ve more recently come to love The Hold Steady and have forever being in love with the talents of Belle and Sebastian. Also, if its surnames Wainwright- Martha or Rufus I’ll give it a listen!
