I'm an ex pro rugby league player so there are no prizes for guessing my favourite sport. Even though it pains me to think of what could have been, I still enjoy watching both the British Super League and the Australian NRL. I also enjoy 'lashin it up' with the boys (getting drunk, for anyone who was starting to question my sexuality). Getting pissed and playing rugby kind of go hand in hand, a perfect weekend.
Anyone who is pretty cool, or pretty or cool.
I WAS THERE! SREGE's B'DAY @ NOTT ARENA!I love rock! anything really from Panic at the Disco and The Subways to Slipknot and Death Star and everything in betwen including Funeral For A Friend, Trivium, Dragonforce, Lordi, Metallica, Velvet Revolver, Q.O.T.S.A, LostProphets, Andrew WK, Offspring, Rancid, Distillers (Brodie is so fit), The MIGHTY Guns n Roses!!! and indie bands like The Libertines, Kasabian, or my local heros THE PADDINGTONS! If you can play air guitar to it I'll probably like it, which is why my rock idol is the one and only SLASH. As well as rock I'm gettin quite into some dance, especially the filthy beats of Steve Lawler.I also enjoy going to rock festivals, and try to go to at least one each year. My favourite festival is Download at Donnington Park, but I also go to Leeds Carling Festival. Still hoping to go to Glastonbury one year, but it is pretty much impossible to get a ticket. People who sell festival tickets for a profit on e-bay should die a slow and painful death....................................................... ............................................................ ..................................................The new craze to hit the streets is the "Shag-a-bum-bag Dance," and has it's origins embedded deep within Leeds Festival 2006.
I haven't seen too many movies, and most of those I have seen I can't really remember, but I do know that my favourite director is Quentin Tarantino and my favourite film has to be 'Pulp Fiction'. I appreciate a well thought out plot with a clever twist, so 'SAW' and 'SAWII' along with 'Snatch' and 'Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrells' are up there in my top ten. Comedies are always fun especially when they include Will Ferrell in the cast, it's hard to beat films like 'Anchor Man' or 'Old School', but 'Napoleon Dynamite' is something else. I might offend a few people when I say that I can't stand Sci-Fi and don't see what the fuss is about with 'Star Wars'. I suppose you could say that my taste in movies is varied but favours the two opposite ends of the spectrum, the realistic, straight talking, violent plots, or the absolutely rediculously random comedies.
Reading fiction is for the unimaginative who need somone else to think for them. Reading fact is for the unintelligent who feel it necessary to broaden their knowledge.
SLASH (Guns n Roses), ROCKY BALBOA, and of course 'The Fonz' will always be a legend
