Where does one begin when describing a phenomenon such as Palenville Heat?Not so long ago, and despite where you currently live, not so far away, a trio ( it would have been a quartet had the fourth fighter not been engaged in secret activities which undoubtedly included mastering the wild and its beasts. ) of ragged drifters, their bellies filled of hunan specialties, tumbled into a lonely pizza shop. Inside a bluegrass gathering was under way.... A bluegrass session that would forever change the history of music. For the trio was not at all pleased. How could this be? What had bluegrass become? A simple genre of music for fools far and wide? A crutch for one armed guitarists and unwashed banjo refugees?Absolutley not! For within the souls of these drifters began a fire. A fire that burned and burned. A fire that could not be stopped.And so in this era of confusion, in which babies die, and people use people for bombs, there was born a vessel of hope... A hope that the roots of American music would rise once again, that it would pierce through genres and styles, that man would live in brotherhood without fear or oppression.
