CosmicFactory is a new danish band founded in 2008 in Helsingor. The three members
represents tons of expirience combined with a youthfull joy of playing, beeing three
peoble of different ages and with very different musical backgrounds.
On bass and backin vocal is the 18 year old Rebecca Krogmann, who kicks serious ass,
ripping energetic grooves and riffs on her bass, with an attitude like shes been doin
it for ever.
The drums are handled by Henning Frimann, who is an experimental musician known from stuff like T.I.G. and Snöleoparden.
Frimann is tha master of the supergroovy beats, played with a happy feelin that could be called jazzy
and a bit worldmusic like.
The guitar, harmonica and main vocal is done by Holten, who in the 90's was a traditional bluesplayer,
playing with the best blues rythmgroups in Denmark.
He developed his style further in the beginning of this century,
playing garagerock and producing electronica, and is now the centerforce in the rockin bluesy n' groovy style
of CosmicFactory, bringing together over 20 years of playin gigs of all sorts,
with a endless cosmic love for musik.
The band came alive when Holten and Frimann in the beginning of 2008 got together jammin
in their base at Musikhuset Elvaerket in Helsignor.
They immediatly felt their grooves fit together perfectly,
and started lookin for the right bassplayer.
Hangin out in the local musicstore, Holten had spotted this young girl who was awesome on the bass,
had a perfekt 'oldscool' sound and feelin, and had a sooo cool attitude.
Soon shes was on the bass in CosmicFactory and band was complete.
Quickly CosmicFactory was on stage playing gigs with a 50/50 mix of their own songs and blue tunes
from late 60's and early 70's, stunning peoble with their blue (and sometimes fierce) energy,
their mix of styles and feelings, and their cosmic groove.
