AK4711 is a female band, the sort of girl band that you've never seen before, yet if you think about it, there should have been something like it before. Especially in Germany and especially right now.
Anja, Caro, Cindy and Kerstin are the absolute opposite of obliging, satisfied and well-behaved.
The solid demolition rock by the quartet from Berlin, Belgium and Hamburg is shaking up the pop music world. Sometimes they rock like hell, then they enchant your ears with brilliant pop tunes or purist electro sounds, rounded off by delivering lyrics you're not sure whether to laugh or cry at. In the end, you do both - and you dance.
Naturally, AK4711 sing in German, and naturally they tell it like it is; and they take serious things seriously, but they don't take themselves too seriously, and so the fun they have is infectious. Indeed, AK4711 can be addictive.
Basically, AK4711 embodies all the female attributes in one go: they are charming and dangerous, they make sense and are up for nonsense, and they love everything which is not allowed.
In short - the band name is AK4711's theme: Anja, Caro, Cindy and Kerstin are firing on all cylinders. And they smell good.
