About Me
The band was formed around February of 2005 by frontman Tony Bush after years of relentless searching for the right sound. Together with Adam Garwood, Alex Garwood, Sean Hosler, Steven Hosler and Josh "Shaggy" Paulson the band RazoRKasket came into existence and the road began. We started playing shows with a set of 4 original's and 2 covers at any party we could. Shortly after our first show we were invited to play the Barn, a very popular local venue at the time pulling crowds between 300 - 1000 people on average. In february of 2006 the first Kasket demo was released and we started really focusing on where to go as a band. Around this time we lost Alex and in came Heath LaTour on guitar. With our fan base growing and the warmer months coming up we busted out about 11 songs and started playing shows at clubs in the surrounding areas. Over the course of the year we went from being a party band to being named "The Best Band In Lenewee County 2006 and playing at Venues as well known as Harpos. From playing a show every couple months to playing almost every weekend.Over the last couple of years we have certainly grown as a band, although the goal has always been to make a career out of RazoRKasket, we have certainly had our share of bumps in the road. Rest assured that we will one day be doing this for a living for the love of our music and the reaction that it gets in the pit!!!RazoRKasket is a hard hitting pull no punches style of unique shock metal with a live show to knock you off your feet. Our goal is to take the stage every time with the intention of giving the people the best local show they have ever seen and to constantly improve our performance!!! Anybody who has had the chance to see us perform will certainly say that we put on an incredible show in front of one person or 1000 people!!!
The band is now becoming very popular state-wide with the song list that consists of twenty some original songs and a couple of covers that we enjoy playing on a pretty regular basis. The song list consists of: Wake Up, Fallen, Bravery, Blood Stained Glass, Purgatory's Eye, Final Word, My World Bleeds, Dead End Dream, Nailed to the Sky, Shallow, Through Your Window, Devastation of Anger, Propaganda (2007), Born To Die(2007), Denouncing The Name Of God(2007), The New Beginning(2007) Lost (2007), For Nothing(2008), Trashbag(2008), In Vain(2008), Nothing you can do(2008),and Scars(2008). The covers we like to play are: Loyalty ( American Head Charge), Chicken Huntin' (ICP), Enter Sandman (Metallica), Sadam A GO GO(Gwar), Paint It Black (Rolling Stones) Irresponsible Hate Anthem(Manson) and Smash Your Enemies (Hatebreed) to name a few. The band continues to write new songs and is working hard to have as many live performances as possible. Our list of venues played seems to be growing all the time as well as bands we've shared the stage with.If you haven't seen or heard us give it time and you will, some of the venues we have performed in include...Harpos Concert Theater(Detroit),L.A. Cafe (Adrian), I-Rock (Detroit)Tops & Tails (Peoria, ill.), Old Town Bar (Brooklyn), Mac's Bar (lansing) ect... . Some of the bands we've played with so far....GWAR, Kingdom Of Sorrow, Devildriver, Napalm Death, Mushroomhead, Dope, Sepultura, 36 Crazyfists, Diecast, Bobaflex,A New Revolution, Suicide Silence, Epica, Kamelot, Sworn Enemy, Fermata and Simply Sick! Some of the local's we prefer to shred it up with are Sworn Secrecy, Bipolar Murder Musik, Sin Thereom, Vigil, Sickest Fuckin Crew(Self Infliction), Samaira, Arms of Automation, Genocya, Grindline, Amora and Chasing Chaos. We are the beast under your bed, the nightmare that never ends, and the train screaming at you down the tracks......We are RazoRKasket, try and stop us now!
