About Me

teach me something, and i'm happy. i like to feel my heart beat, whether it's some big adventure or being sentimental over the smallest thing. when i fall in love, i stay there a long time. i babysit for one good dog and one psycho puppy. i like cooking but not washing dishes. i have laundry issues; i manage a small business and work on it almost every day. i love being where things are made, so a garage is a great place to spend an afternoon. i believe in this: "Love as much as you can, from where you are, with what you've got."

i hope to squeeze more than 9 lives into this one. i'm not good at sitting still. i move a lot and i would like to stop; i haven't put down roots or felt at home anywhere for a long time; so trees and flowers and planting myself in one place for a while would be nice, i think--i hope...so i can practice taking care of living things and watching stuff grow.

My Interests

travel and writing and both together. i love to be outside...camping, hiking, playing at the beach. i like to climb trees, maybe some big rocks one of these days--riding motorcycles and boogie boarding. I want to visit Argentina and Iguazu Falls but...i keep forgetting to renew my passport--so....maybe i'll start with yosemite and work up from there. :)

I'd like to meet:

a nice kind person who loves me, and appreciates the way i love him back. also, should have a passport.

Music:

yes, punk, jazz, heavy stuff, rock, pop, acoustic, sad stuff--i listen to just about everything. bachelor-pad, secret-agent music; martini in the morning. and definitely prince.

Movies:

Sugar Boxx is the greatest movie i have not yet seen!

Television:

I watch How It's Made, Big Idea, LA Ink....or else if the TV is on, there is most likely a pile of books on my lap.

Books:

i like to read memoirs and american literature and sexy women like colette and anais nin.
