Not one single person comes to mind. Famous people do nothing for me, unless they are the humanitarian type that are willing to sacrifice to the less-than-fortunate. Through out life we meet various people. Those that make a difference are the ones that stay and those that are solely focused on "self" will eventually fade away. I love meeting real non-judgmental people. I realize we all go through things in life, as I go through them too. The definition of friend is: one attached to another by respect or affection.Life is a gift, plain and simple. Each of us have a different reason for being here and a different meaning to every one. Ultimately I think the moments that stick with me the most are the ones where nothing is said at all.
One thing most people should know about me is that I am not culturally bound. I am fairly fluent in Spanish, am now in the process of learning Kurdish, as well as competition for the Arabic language. I have a fascination with various cultures that we are mixed with. I try to teach this life lesson to my children on a daily basis. I want them to be not only proud of who they are, but where they come from. At the same time, teaching them that we should not judge others if they are different than what they are used to seeing. There is so much more to learn in life and I await the lessons.
