I adore my sons and husband. I love spoiling them and being spoiled. I have a new found interest in cooking. I seem to be a natural at all dishes New Orleans - crabmeat au gratin, barbequed shrimp, crawfish bread, stuffed crab, fried shrimp, fried speckled trout, baked redfish, etc. I can make a kick-ass roast and perfect veal.
I love using my hands and doing mechanical stuff. I love assembling things. I was big and pregnant and put together my son's crib. I kicked Ronnie out of the way because he was slowing me down! ;) I love to read. I love art museums. I love Louisiana and New Orleans history.
I'd like to meet:
Of course, God is first on my list. Then I would love to meet my BooBoo (great grandmother). She died before I was born and she left a great legacy behind. I think I would have loved her. I would also love to meet my brother Shawn, considering I have no memory of him.

Books:
I love Buddy Stall's series of Louisiana History books. I also enjoy John Grisham's novels. I am currently reading Isaac's Storm. Since I am reading this book, I realize that what happened along the Gulf Coast was not nearly as bad as it could have been. In 1900, Galveston had it so much worse and got off their asses and fixed the entire island themselves (with no help from the government)! I find that admirable.
Heroes:
Ronnie, Trey, Lennon, my mom and my grandfather for his strength and courage in dealing with life's obstacles.
