SecondSunSound (Udoh)

Growing up primarily in St. Louis, MO. Udoh played in various school ensembles throughout high school and college. As a member of the legendary Howard University Jazz Ensemble (HUJE), Udoh further developed as a saxophonist and overall musician. Udoh has played with too many musicians to be named here, but the list is very impressive as well as eclectic. Udoh was a co-founder of the Atlanta based original jazz group "Afro Blue." Afro Blue recorded it's debut CD "Unbroken Circle" in 1997, and performed a numerous venues and festivals for roughly 6 years. Shortly thereafter Udoh along with memebers of Afro Blue provided the canvas for UK's singer/songwriter phenom, Julie Dexter from 2002-2003 touring extensively throughout the US and abroad. Currenlty Udoh resides in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Since 2000 Udoh has been a full-time music teacher/band director for Atlanta Public Schools, DC public schools, and now Howard University Middle School of Mathematics and Science, in addition to performing with various musicians and bands. BlackNotes (spoken word and music) & Proverbs Reaggae band. In 2007, Udoh co-wrote the score to a full length feature film "Like Water". He also produces music for various artist and commercial projects. Udoh is soon to release a solo effort in 2008. I created my layout at KillerKiwi.net
