Like in many occasions, there is not an exact meaning for love because every1 has their own interpretation of it but these are some very important components: * Caring deeply about that person and frequently showing it * Respecting the individuality of the other * Making a commitment * Trusting that person * Allowing and Accepting their imperfections * Allowing and helping that person be the best they can be * Compatability = similar morals, values, taste, etc * Letting go the illusion of total control of themLove is sometimes confused with lust or infatuation . In my opinion, there is No love at first sight...its lust at first sight. How can one be in love with someone we dont know?Many people say we "fall" in love BUT if we think about it, we GROW in love.
