About Me

Hi! Welcome to My Space!

It's hard to sum myself up in a few words, but all I can tell you (for those that don't know me,) is that I try to live my life as positively as I can. I can appreciate life's hiccups, but I really just take my life for what it is. Having been associated with multiple cultures and people with different preferences all my life, I have a deep routed passion to respect them. So be kind, steer away from ignorance, don't discriminate based on your perceptions of perfection, because it does not exist, and be ok with that..

Relate, accept, forgive, unassume, fight for what is right, you never know until you find out, don't waste your time guessing...

  • Music:

My three favorite genres of music are House Music, New Wave and Rock. One of my all time favorite bands is the Foo Fighters. But I can't name an absolute favorite band. I have quite a few of them through certain periods of my life. I also embrace Spanish/Latin music of all genres because it's tied into every part of my being...

    Movies:

Gosh! It's hard to name a favorite type of movie. Any John Hughes & Tim Burton films would be on my top list, but there are certainly more. As far as foreign films, Almodóvar is one of my favorite Director's. But here are a few that I can think of now: Tie me Up, Tie me Down, Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, Sixteen Candles, In the Name of the Father,Christmas Story, Clerks, Office Space, Run Lola Run... geez too many!

    Television:

I watch very little TV. However, there is one show I watch consistently and that is abc World News with Charles Gibson. Other than that, when I have time, I watch cartoons, The Iron Chef & Much More Music/VH1/MTV.

    Books:

The Stories of Eva Luna by Isabel Allende, One Thousand Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez, Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman

    Heroes:

I have two major heroes. My grandmother & My Mom. Words can't really describe how amazing they are as women and mothers.
