Ernie

My name is Ernie and I was born in Manila Philippines on March 20, 1967. Came to live with my parents out in California in 1973. Lived in California for most of my life until I moved to Florida in 1997. I've been happily married now for 11 years. I've been saved by the Grace of God and accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. I grew up and was raised a Roman Catholic. I started reading the Word of God and I heard God's calling. I had experienced an amazing spiritual rebirth. My wife and I now attend First Baptist church of Naples. I really believe the Catholic Religion bases their faith on tradition rather than the Word Of God. As a Catholic I feel you are being mislead and are blinded to the Truth. Jesus said, "You shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free". Thats what happened to me, I found what I was looking for, the Truth. Theres only one mediator between you and God and thats Christ Jesus. Anybody can have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ if they only open their hearts to him. For me I truly believe God is in control of my life whether I go thru good or bad times along the way. God has his reasons why we experience hardships and tough trials in our life. As Christians we need to accept it and believe God will be by our side to help us in our time of need. All we need to do is call out his name and he will be there. As the apostle Paul said, "Keep the Faith, fight the good fight and always stay true to God". I'm on a Great Commission given to me by God to save the lost and to have compassion for those who reject God. Its all about being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to be his servant working to advance his Kingdom. Ask me about my Faith sometime, I would love to share it with you.
