About me...hmmmm...Well my name is Larkin. I'm currently 22 years old and entering my final semester of college. Unfortunately it's taken me 4 1/2 years to complete my degree but I'm glad to be done. My degree will be Liberal Studies with a concentration in Special Education, because I'm just not sure if I want to teach anymore. I know I want to work with special needs children, just not sure if I can teach for the rest of my life. I'm also interested in Physical Therapy with them, so who knows maybe I'll take that road. Currently right now I am working in the school system, so we'll see.I also have two other jobs. I provide services to 2 special needs children outside of the school environment and love it. It gives me free range to do a lot more with them than I am able to do in the school. Between these three jobs I probably put in anywhere from 50-70 hours a week. It's tiring, exhausting and sometimes I wonder why I do this to myself but I love it. It will pay off in the end I hope.Well that's my work life, now here's for a little more personal information. The past four years have been the best, the worst, and sometimes just the dullest ever in my life. I've learned alot about myself through people. Some who are still friends, some who are not, and some who even though we're not "Friends" have still taught me something. I've made mistakes, but I live not to correct them, but learn from them so they don't happen again. I believe everything that happens in a persons life helps them learn about themselves and grow.I've met some amazing people, some real assholes, and some real bitches. There's a few close friends that I've kept through the 4 years and hope to continue to keep over the next 60! I have fallen in love, been in love, had my heart broken, and probably broken a heart or two along my way. Of course with no intention of doing so. I've been mean, I've been nice, I've been silly, I've been immature, and I've been crazy. Probably the only thing I would change when it comes to the last 4 years, is maybe going away for college instead of staying here in Greensboro. I've had a real roller coaster life for the past four years and even though it was some of the best times, and worst times of my life I wouldn't change it for the world.Currently right now I'm confused about what I want to do with the rest of my life. I would love to travel. I'd love to move since I've been here in Greensbor for my whole 22 years of life. But I always think about coming back. But who really knows. A dream of mine is to be able one day to travel parts of the world that I've always wanted to see.Now the real juicy things about me! I am a very outgoing person. I 99 percent of the time speak what's on my mind. Although I do think about EVERYTHING before I say it. That's probably my biggest flaw. I am also known to be a bitch when I need to be, however I'm also known to be the nicest person you'll ever meet as well. I look out for myself, and that's probably why I seem like that.I'm very very close with my family. In fact I try and see them everyday if not every other day. I have an older brother Stephen, who is my best friend. He just got married to a wonderful girl who will make the best sister ever. I spend a lot of time at my parents house when I can. I eat Sunday dinner with them every Sunday and don't blow it off for anything. You can't beat the time you spend with your family or find anything else like it. I complain about them, just like anyone would. But when it comes down to it, I'll be there till the end for them. They annoy me sometimes but I'm sure I annoy them too! They are my everything. If you can't tell I am very much a family girl.I have two puppies. They are both now a year old. They're basset hounds. Both are tri-colored and their names are BUSTER and COOPER. I treat them probably better than most people treat their children! I love them and they go just about everywhere with me if possible. When I travel I want them to be able to go!I like the lake, love the beach. I love to look my best therefore I spend a lot of money on hair, clothes, shoes, and tanning! I'm outgoing, yet shy at times. I'm loud yet quiet. I'm immautre yet very mature. I'm very scared yet very brave. I'm very silly yet very serious. I'm clumsy, espceially when drinking. I'm a partier yet a stay at homer! I'm a social drinker yet I can drink with the best of them. I do not smoke and will never. I'm very assertive yet passive. I am easily walked all over, yet I push people away. I'm very confident yet I have very low self-esteem. I'm perfect yet EXTREMELY imperfect. I strive for excellence yet I fail alot of times but just try again. I'm a very hard worker, yet I can be lazy. I hate school, yet love learning new things. I love my old friends but will take new ones whenever I can get them. I love laying on a blanket outside and staring at the clouds or stars. I love ordering delivery or take out and spending a nice romantic quiet evening at night. I love going out and partying it up and dancing the night away as well. I love to curl up on the couch with a blanket, cup of hot co-co, and fire going watching a movie. I love listening to all kinds of music except opera! I'm not much a tv person, but I'll watch just about any movie. I'm a hopeless romantic, and return the favor! I'm love animals. I'm a people person, but like my personal time. I love flip flops and heels, yet will put on a pair of tennis shoes. I love watching football. I live for August 25th, the beginning of it all! I played basketball my whole life and love it as well. Im a huge tomboy, yet a classy, well behaved, well dressed young woman! I love real strawberries yet hate anything that's suppose to taste like strawberries. I love cherries and everything that tastes like cherries! I like chocolate but love candy! H2O with lemon is my favorite beverage! I hate red meat, but love chicken and turkey! I love all fruits and veggies. Im a health fanatic yet not at all! I love to cook but hate to clean. I'm a very organized person yet unorganized. I'm a very clean person. I'm a hot head, yet I keep my cool. I'm not jealous of anything or anyone. I love capturing memories with pictures. This is me, and i love it...
