ThaÃsa, Thainá and Thayana, were each born on November 10th,1984 in BrasÃlia, the capital of Brazil. Motivated by the same destiny, these triplets began their artistic career early on.
Since they were young,ThaÃsa, Thainá and Thayana, studied classical ballet, adding jazz and contemporary dance to their repertoire a few years later.
Simultaneous to their dance training, they were also taking theater and acting classes. Their talent was so visible that they quickly became part of one of the most recognized theater companies in Brasilia. At the same time, they were also participating in a contemporary dance group.
The public showed an immediate response to their performances as the critics praised them for their overflowing creative energy. This became the key to their success.
Their love for performing led them to leave their home town and travel to Campinas,(SP) where they were hired by the pop group "Sandy & Junior", who shared a phenomenal and unequaled success in Brazil.
After being appreciated and recognized for their on-stage talent and being equally motivated by their unique experience, Thaìsa, Thainà and Thayana decided to make their love of performing, their real job. Inseparable since birth, they continued once again on the path to their shared destiny. They continued this professional rise while settling in the cultural capital of Brazil, Rio de Janeiro. Here, they continued to study the art of singing, composition and writing their own lyrics as well.
They joined a theater group for nearly a year and doing little works in TV and Cinema, until 2003, when a new turn of events took place. Thaìsa, Thainà and Thayana were chosen to be part of a musical in Paris.
Falling in love with Paris, France and its incredible mix of cultures and music, they set a new goal for themselves: To share and spread Brazilian culture and music with as many people as they can.
Their first single, "Choopeta" is a classic example of this. Originally a folk song from Brazil, "Choopeta" (Mamãe eu quero), immortalized by legendary performer Carmem Miranda in 1939, was remade with a brand new interpretation and production.
T-Rio’s first album is a wonderful mixture of beautiful covers from Brazilian culture, and original songs, which were either written by them selves or co-written. Their album is a true expression of the joy of life! Once "Choopeta" was released, T-Rio fortunately found worldwide success selling close to two millions albums.
In the end of the same year, was launched their second single "If You Leave Me Now" in duo with the brothers Taj, Tj and Taryll Jackson who form the group 3T.
Currently, the group is preparing a new album, where they also co-write the songs, which promises to surprise you.
