It all started way back in 1996, when Dream Nefra was working at Leopold's Records and True Justice would come in everytime looking for the greatest and lastest joints to rock the party with his crew, The All Purpose DJs( DJ Styles, DJ Lex, DJ True Justice, and Lord Takim). Dream was new to the San Francisco Bay Area by way of Boston, MA and member of Ed O.G and da B.U.L.L.D.O.G.S.. True Justice was native to the SF Bay and had graduated from The Allah School of Mecca DJ Academy in Harlem, NY and had been a dancer for Action Packed Gangstas. Dream released a single "Want It" which featured beats by A-Plus of Heiro and the b side " It's Called" featuring Exile Society and the beat by Ed O.G . So she needed a DJ and True Justice fit the bill since they both will battle anybody and do not care who you tell. True Justice had already released few mixtapes and had quite a rep for spinning. So together they been rocking shows for now over a decade. Both have done large bodies of work published and unreleased with such acts as Heiroglyphics, Swollen Members, Sets One, Kene-J, Hobo Junction, Zion I, Friz B of VB (aka Various Blends), Bootleg of the Earthlings and many others. Now ten years later they have openned for Mystik, Brother J, Rass Kass, KRS-One, Boot Camp Click, Medusa and done events like B-Boy Summit 3 and HerStory. Still to this day they both remain active in the community of Hip Hop via performing and promoting events like the bi-monthly Tiger Lounge on 14th St @ Broadway, Downtown Oakland every first and third Friday and the annual Goodies Crafts Fair at San Francisco's Club Six on 6 th street between Market and Mission. Yes, It's the same Dream Nefra that makes hats at the club. Yes, it is the same True Justice that makes it happen. Collectively and individually they turn it out period!
