Matt Evans was an avid show-goer before he was diagnosed with cancer in the Fall of 2004. He recently pass away in August at the age of 19 after a long fight with the disease. Matt always wanted to be in a band, so his family asked me to put some lyrics he wrote to music. With the help of friends, we found some local bands who were willing to do it.
****Everyones help, donations, show attendance, and cd purchases helped make this project a success, because I alone could not afford to pay for recording and production costs.
******ALL the proceeds from this cd went to the cancer research centers: MD Anderson, Sloan Kettering, Arkansas Children's Hospital, St. Jude's, and one to a private Make a Wish candidate.
Thank you for helping to make this dream a reality, words cannot express my gratitude. I hope this cd and Matt can be an inspiration to everyone.
