About Me

I'm opinionated, passionate, and honest. I don't have a problem telling you like it is, probably due to my New York upbringing...we're kinda known for letting people know exactly what we think of them, both good and bad. I love the southern US, and make my home in the great state of Tennessee. The past few years have seen me in a multitude of places. Living in Indiana, Canada, New York, and now back in Tennessee...and during this time, I was frequently traveling throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. I've had such interesting experiences over the past few years, and life is just beginning! I am travel frequently & work in the music business as an artist manager. I can be a very complex person...but my true friends know that I am fiercely loyal, and easygoing, humorous, and goofy. :)

My Interests

Travel is one of my greatests interests. I've traveled to 45 of the 50 United States and 5 of the 10 Canadian provinces. Other than the US & Canada, 9 other countries in the world thus far - but there will always be more to come! Music is my other "great" interest since it is my chosen career industry.

Music:

I listen to such a variety of music that if I were to name all of the artists, the list would not fit. I listen to a lot of country, hip-hop & R&B, pop, rap, and more...If you visit www.myspace.com/xanthuosmusic - that is a profile that I use to "friend" bands and music artists that I like.

Movies:

I love countless movies. I'm generally a fan of comedies, epic dramas, and romantic movies. Some of my favorites include Love Actually, Notting Hill, For Love or Money, National Lampoon's Van Wilder, Waiting, Grandma's Boy, PCU, Old School, American Beauty, Braveheart, The Godfather Trilogy, and many many others.

Television:

Entourage is by FAR my favorite show on television right now. Also, The West Wing, Jeopardy!, CSI, Law & Order, The Sopranos, Da Ali G Show, Will & Grace, and then occasionally other shows.

Books:

I don't read like I should any longer...typically, my consumption of the written word has been through message boards and news articles on the internet (including the "blogosphere") and magazines. However, when I do read, I really like business biographies (like the stories of Sam Walton, Ray Kroc, Donald Trump, etc and the companies they lead)...certain series by Anne McCaffrey, some political books, and whatever else I pick up that seems interesting. No God But God: The Origins, Evolutions, and Future of Islam is a fascinating book that I recently read. Also, The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists is one of my favorite books of recent memory.

Heroes:

I don't have "heroes" per se, but I do respect my mom and dad (step-father) for everything they have done & continue to do for me.
