I love to party, but only on the weekends. Weekdays are a redundant, sickening timeframe known as the workweek. During this time I like to exercise and sleep in as late as possible. Otherwise I'm hard at work, giving me the anticipation and motivation of looking foward. Weekends are my time to shine. I love to drink and/or any combination of sports, hangin with friends, watching movies, listening to music, playing video games and poker, bar-hoppin, and just straight chillin.
Tom Brady. Three Super Bowl Rings in four years. First to reach the mark at such an age. What else can I say? Peyton who? Give me a break...how many rings does he have? Larry David would be a trip to meet. I'd also like to meet Eddie Van Halen and David Lynch so they can show me how to to play "Eruption" and explain their movies, respectively of course.
Mainly rock. Used to bump hip-hop, but either rap's gone downhill or it's just me. Part of me wants to recall classics like the rest of you. And in all actuallity, I may defy my main friends, but I can't help but love the 80s pop songs(e-mail me with your guilty pleasures.) It seems the older(wiser) I get, the more I come to appreciate the classics. Main interests include Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Tom Petty, Breaking Benjamin, 311, Taproot, Beastie Boys, Linkin Park, The Offspring, (old)Tool, Lostprophets, and the great grunge outfit of the early-mid 90s. I grew up listening to a very wide variety. Love the 80s hair bands no matter what anyone says. I'm still open to just about everything. Not a big country or death metal buff and don't have the patience to appreciate jazz, though I'm getting there. Anything else under the sun is cool with me, except for emo. I f*%$@* hate emo(i.e., My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, and the rest of those whiny punks.)
I'm a movie freak, to say the least. And I tend to admire the flicks that most people find just too strange. Here's a great example from possibly the most bizarre movie I've ever seen...
Top 10(not necessarily in order, but pretty close):
10.Carlito's Way
9.The Usual Suspects
8.Goodfellas
7.The Big Lebowski
6.Seven
5.Lord of the Rings Trilogy(it really is only one movie)
4.Back to the Future
3.Mulholland Drive
2.Heat
1.Indiana Jones(can't pick just one)
Best of the rest: Anything Tarantino(minus From Dusk til Dawn), Casino, The Departed, Bourne trilogy, original Star Wars, Zodiac, Aliens(a.k.a. Alien 2), Snatch, Fight Club, Bully, Fear and Loathing, Swingers, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Italian Job, American History X, Before the Devil Knows You're Dead, Memento, Equilibrium, Lucky # Slevin, Cloverfield, A Clockwork Orange, Office Space, Road Trip, 12 Monkeys, Van Wilder, Dark Side of the Rainbow, Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle.
SEINFELD. Nuthin else to say man. The best sitcom ever made. Larry David is a genius. If your not convinced, peep Curb Your Enthusiasm. On a more dramatic note, check out Dexter...the best show you haven't seen. Also, if you haven't seen Lost, you're missing out on a great example of a perfect series outline. Worthy nods also go to Just Shoot Me, 3rd Rock from the Sun, King of Queens, Everybody Loves Raymond, Californication, Home Improvement, Scrubs, The Office, and Family Guy(old school remains cream of the crop). I also dig Tom Green though his humor is select. And of course, there is Sportscenter.
What the hell is a book?!! Oh, a book, right. Books suck. Magazines are the way to go. Pictures, short stories. Yup, beats the hell out of a book. Someone once told me a picture was worth a thousand words and that definitely holds true when it comes to reality. Why read a novel when you can rent the movie?
My parents are the only REAL heroes that come to mind. Idols on the other hand, would expand the category(e.g., Tom Brady, Tedy Bruschi, Indy Jones).
