I grew up just outside Philadelphia, PA and spent a few years living in various other places within Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Arizona. I am now a Lieutenant Junior Grade (O-2) in the US Navy. I have a gorgeous wife and 5 kids. My first wife passed away suddenly from heart failure and went to be with the Lord in 2005. I was alone with our 3 kids until I met my current wife who brought two of her own to the mix. I hold a BS degree in meteorology and served just over three years as a weather officer in the Air Force. I then transferred to the Navy and will be learning oceanography. They will most likely send me to Naval Postgraduate School for my next assignment to get a master's degree in meteorology and physical oceanography.
