En principio fuimos 5 los integrantes de un grupo punk de precario sonido que a pesar de las escasas habilidades para tocar los instrumentos abundaba en ASCO hacia la ironía e hipocresía que se ve a diario en el mundo. ASCO se denomina la banda, la cual nació como tal en el año 2001 integrada por: Oscar (Guitarra) Camilo (Guitarra 2) Andrés (Bajo) Alex (Voz) Willy (Batería), tiempo después sale Oscar. La abstinencia de la banda hacia algunas tendencias vigentes en la actualidad, ha hecho que no sea un prototipo de grupo clasificado entre las diversas corrientes ideológicas de la juventud, teniendo en cuenta que: "Cada una cree tener su propia verdad". Por ello basados en lo que sentimos, en lo que vemos, en la realidad, en lo que somos vulnerados, gritamos temas asentados en el HARDCORE-PUNK, sin ser trascendentales con tal ideología. ASCO a tocado en diferentes localidades de Bogota, junto a bandas de gran trascendencia nacional como: Excomulgados, zd, Desarme, Ministerio de vagancia, Eskoria, Contra la pared, Rebelión, Contra el sistema, El furibundo serna, Intifada, Ultimátum, Ruptura radical, Escépticos (Medellín),los suziox, polikarpa y sus viciosas,morgue y entre otros que no recordamos con exactitud. En noviembre de 2003 grabamos en el estudio de Javier para un compilado llamado URBE PUNK, este fue distribuido junto con 11 bandas mas de la ciudad de Bogota, un año mas tarde grabamos en los estudios de ALTERNA en Chapinero 12 temas que se sacaron en un split junto a la banda Ecuatoriana Juana la loka justamente en abril del 2005.
