Introducing, the Misses, Christie Champaign, taste her flavor. This lyrical sister will put it on you with her rhythmic vocals and flip it with her rap stylistics. A one of a kind performer, Champaign, was raised a native of South Carolina. Being a preachers daughter, her first musical influences came from the church gospel choir. Champaign learned the skills of capturing an audience from her fathers spiritual solos and learned hip hops rhythms from late night sessions sneaking to listen to secular music on the radio.Champaign, attended Florida A&M University where she had the opportunity to perfect her musical talents. She participated in numerous talent shows, pageants; local performances and even became a member of Tallahassee Floridas own, Uncut, female hip hop group. After her college graduation, she relocated to Miami, Florida to begin living her dream. Unfortunately, Miami was extremely difficult for Champaign to make a break in the industry. By the grace of God, she received a call from CJB Entertainment and the rest of the story is history.The road traveled to achieve success is long and hard but Champaign has proven time and time again she is up for the challenge. And unlike other artist, she does not have any family supporting her career goals in entertainment. She has sacrificed and invested her all in her musical aspirations. Champaign is now working in conjunction with Beige Productions to produce her first solo album, Taste the Flavor. She has notoriety in Floridas central and Southern regions and is steady on the rise.
Champaign is a unique amenity to the hip hop community by blending the sounds of pop, hip hop, and R&B. She has been labeled the new breed of entertainment and is setting a higher standard for todays entertainers.
