Jared Weber is a SAG actor/stunt man/martial artist/acrobat currently located in California.He holds a bachelor's degree in theatre (as well as a B.A. in journalism) from the University of Wisconsin, a fourth degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and is a practitioner of contemporary Wushu. As of November 30, 2004, Jared is also a member of the Screen Actors Guild.Jared has appeared in such movies as Nancy Drew (Warner Bros., 2007), Beowulf (Paramount, 2007), Green Arrow (Greenhouse Productions, 2005), Shot From the Sky (GRB Entertainment, 2004), Sword of Hearts (Sword and Cloak Productions, 2002), and Moments in Time (Terra Nova Productions, 2002).In addition to acting and stuntwork, Jared has taught martial arts, coached gymnastics, and worked as a newspaper reporter. He's also written two books.In August of 2003, Jared moved to California to work in the movie industry full time. Jared comments: "I'm currently living in Los Angeles with my lovely wife, Katie. It's apparently where God wants me for now. We miss our homes but this is where the industry's center is. For the moment, this is where I have to be if I want to act and do stunts."On that topic, I just want to say that I know I'll probably never be as talented, as rich, or as famous as, say, Jet Li or Charleton Heston or Mel Gibson (although that would be pretty cool). But I would count myself blessed if I could make a living making movies. God has already blessed me with so many loved ones and friends, but I figure it can't hurt to ask Him for a little bit more."
