About Me

Plucked from obscurity to an even more desolate place the beautiful lowlands beyond the Highlands of scotland... I've always liked writing but only took it seriously when I moved to a smallholding and we needed anything to survive now write childrens books and write sing and perform my own original material. Have had good reviews from local radio stations and beyond. Not keen at all on Covers! My father was a jazz pianist which music I have only just begun to appreciate my own influences are everywhere but no one place inparticular, I have no hero's in music but alot have made me pretty happy or sad at some stage! My music is described as haunting and yet also relaxing. Original and absorbing I hope to have some of my more recent songs on here soon ...The songs on my first album and on here are some of the 1st I ever wrote and now its become like a journey.I've been asked why I didn't write songs or sing earlier and perhaps its trite to say I found something to sing about and found a voice to sing it... but its true and now I hope to never stop!Apart from music, singing, and writing?... Love my wife, children and the numerous hordes of animals we have ; horses ,cows, buffalos. sheep chickens turkeys ducks peacocks, rabbits budgies geerbils dogs cats... phewbody background="http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h191/curion123 /nature/5.gif" ..
