My Interests

I have Multiple Sclerosis. The ribbon is reflective to show the multifacited symptoms that occur with MS. The type of MS that I have is relapsing/remitting. It's the least delibating of the 4 types. My first exhaserbation was in 2003 and I was hospitalized for a week. Since then I have only experienced minor symptoms that come and go. With luck, good care and a lot of prayer I may not ever have another major exhaserbation for the remainder of my life. This and a cure for MS are the 2 things I hope for. I have faith!I concider myself very open minded and have numerous interests. I cook, sew, read, crochet, ,garden and enjoy numerous arts and crafts. I also enjoy watching sports such as baseball, football and hockey.

I'd like to meet:

New and interesting people of all ages that have similar interests as I do.

Music:

Music has always been a big part of my life. I generally listen to ALL kinds of music. some of the songs I picked for my playlist say a little bit about who I am. They are also a sample of some of my favorite artists such as Metalica, Sammy Hagar and Sting. Weird combo I know. I also love Christmas music because it cheers me up any time of the year. I didn't put any on my page because I didn't feel it was necessary to torture anyone with it. : )

Movies:

I love to watch movies on the big screen. My faves are action/adventure movies. All of our DVD's were stollen in 2006 so I'm trying to rebuild our collection. I also like horror movies, suspense thrillers and SOME romantic comedies. Chic flicks aren't top of my list.

Television:

I love a good crime solving mystery. CSI (all 3 shows) is my favorite, followed by Grey's Anatomy, House, Numbers and Shark. Hero's is my #1 this season. What a great show!! Oh yeah, I also watch American Idol.

Books:

I have a small library in my house. I love to read. My top authors are Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, Stuart Woods, Dan Brown, Anne Rice and Janet Evanovich. I love mysteries and horror. I've read some Stephen King and Clive Barker and I'd like to read more. My husband says Dean Koontz is great, so it's only a matter of time before I start reading him too!! My latest books to devour are by James Rollins. I also injoy John Grisham, and Michael Crichton. I've just been turned on to a new author. His name is Paul Levine. Great courtroom drama and very funny.

Heroes:

I have this ribbon to show support to my friends who have autism in their families. Kids with autism are just like any other kid. They like to be loved and to have fun. They just take more patients.
Which character on "House" are you?

Dr. House
You are House. The smart and rude leader of the team. You give the orders and everyone has to take them if they ever want to see you shut up. You could make a dying man feel gulity for leaving this great world behind. But you do what you do and you do it well.

Power of Prayer

I had a group of women from The Church of Jesus Christ's Latter Day Saints come to the door preaching.  Being Catholic I did the only thing I felt I could do.  I preached back.  I told ...
