Team vBi (Violent By Instinct) is one of the most competitive console teams to play on the Xbox 360 to date. Their establishment as "vBi" started 2 years ago in March 2005 but as a "family", they have been together for nearly 7 years! Their foundation started as two separate teams, formerly known as Violators and Just Bring It. Both teams played and started out on the highly-popular Unreal Tournament '99 on the Sega Dreamcast in 2001. Anticipating the release of Microsoft's Xbox 360 in 2005, the two teams agreed to unite as one and make a new name for themselves and create a whole new meaning to "competitive gaming". Just last year, they have started to engrave their names as pro-gamers in the "competitive gaming industry". With the recent success of MLG, WSVG, and WCG events, it's finally becoming clear that after 7 years, they definitely have what it takes to take their name to the top of the leaderboards.
Trivia: The vBi Gears of War team consists of: ALiNORTH, arCtiC, Skyllus, & XceL.
The team is currently active in 3 different FPS games; Gears of War, Halo 3, & Call of Duty 4.
vBi's highest placing in an MLG event was 4th in Meadowlands (Gears of War).
The team has 13 senior members originating from the Sega Dreamcast.
