About Me

Howdy y'all,I'm Dave born & raised in Jerusalem Israel. I am the only "Zabar" (born in Israel) in my immediate family but for better or worse I'm half American :-) I always had a really good idea of what I wanted to achieve but it seems much harder to decide what I want out of it. I've served my country 3 years in the I.A.F. (no, not as a pilot or I'd still serve) I'm glad I did it and I'm glad It's over. I demand a lot out of my self but most of all I demand to enjoy what I am doing.Accomplishing what you've always aimed for and then realizing it's not what you really wanted isn't the worst that could happen. The worst thing is to give up. I admire strong willed people and consider my self to be one (not that I admire myself... some days I don't even like me :-).It's much easier to see the worst in things then to search for what is good, a lot easier to put people out of your life then to give them a second chance but hey, life can be though and the best of things are hard to get and not because they are hard to find but because it is hard to realize that you already have what you really need.I am an optimist but I keep my feet on the ground, I don't expect anyone to help me out but I don't think you should take on life on your own either. I don't see the point to be sorry or disappointed when things don't go your way, sometimes you don't realize until later how lucky you are you didn't get what you wanted, be careful what you wish for- SO TRUE.Taking things in proportion is the key for a happy balanced life it could mean the difference between sorrow & happiness, you shouldn't cry over anything that can't cry over you.Was all this really about me? Well it's about what I believe so I guess you could say so, hope I didn't drill to hard into your skulls :-)

I'd like to meet:

I am perfectly happy with the person I am yet I welcome diversity. I don't have a need for other people to believe what I believe or think the way I think so I can get along great with most people. The most important thing for me is that a person will have a good and honest heart, the rest is all nice but trivial in respect to that. What's the rest? Glad you asked! :-) Optimism, caring, easy going, spontaneous. People that want to make a difference, right a wrong, do some change are too few and meeting one is a blessing. Self confidence is a great virtue which is very important to me, over self confidant/cockiness is my most despised trait in a person and is usually my deal breaker.Whether or not you meet the "criteria" is not as important as whether or not you are happy with yourself. In any case, I'm far from perfect and wouldn't claim to have an "admittance par" so feel free to drop me a line.P.S. If you are looking to rent an apartment in Herzelia or the surrounding area let me know! I'm moving :-)
