Monique began her musical journey at an early age. She began singing first in her school chrous, and at the age of 15 she decided to take it to the next level. She became part of a group called "Little Women" which also included Alicia Keys. At that time that is when she met R&B singer/songwriter Joe whom produced songs for the group. She later sang background for Joe on his song "The Love Scene". Monique also has since then been a part of other groups as well as becoming a background vocalist for many other artist including 3LW, Shanice, Mikki Howard, and Fundisha just to name a few. She has also worked with producers such as Jason Rome, Bryan Cox, Darren Lighty, Eddie F, The Architects, Batiany,Chris Liggio,and Big Bub. Monique is a pure singer/songwriter ready to take her gift to another level. Someone once said that good things come to those who wait. Monique has waited long enough so it is now her time to shine.
