About Me

I am a retired GySgt, and proud of it. People often ask if I would join the Marine Corps today if I were 18 again. The answer is absolutely!!! I envy the guys that are enlisting today, they are making history, and they deserve a lot of credit for what they are doing. The Marine Corps is one of the best things that I have done in my life, so far, it ain't over yet. I'm getting somewhere on this journey, it's just taking me a little more time than those born into money.Oh well, it's all just "stuff" anyway. Like that song by The Rakes "Work, Work, Work(Pub, Club, Sleep), it seems like a rat race to nowhere. I feel like I have all the stuff I need, strangely, I always want more. Eventually you slow down in life and don't give a crap about anything but eating and crapping, but for now, bring on more stuff.I'm thinking about retiring at one of those Erik Estrada infomercial planned developments......NOT!!!Lastly, I've been labeled the epitome of political incorrectness. I have no problem with that label.
