I'm Tash :) But Chloe calls me Tegan, Charli calls me Lezzabreath, Sas, Ames, and Lars call me Tashpants or Star, and Carl calls me Tyke. I'm quite random and like making stuff like this:
My life is actually insane. Loads of stuff I would have never expected in a million years has gone down recently. I love to laugh. I love spending time with people who make me feel comfortable with myself and who make me feel like everything is alright as long as I'm with them. I love days out just wandering. I love summer. I love watching telly with friends and talking crap and eating whatever we can find. I love parties and meeting new, exciting people. I just love everything right now :) Recently I met a few new kids who are just as awesome as the old ones, and we're going to have the best summer ever.
I love being gay. I really do, it's one of the craziest, funniest, rewarding things in my life. I'm not ashamed of it, and I suppose I do look it. But then, define what a lesbian looks like, please? I'm regularly seen out and about wearing skinny jeans, wrecked converse and a brightly coloured t-shirt with my arse hanging out and my hair looking like I've just got out of bed. I like it. I like the adrogynous look. I like how no-one can put me into one of those butchfemme boxes. I confuse people because I'm a gay LADY and I listen to Kylie Minogue, make a huge fuss about my hair and have an eppy when I can't find my eyeliner. But I also drink a lot of beer, play xbox and live like a tramp. It's fantastic.
At the moment, I'm studying for my A levels. Performing Arts, Sociology and English Lit :) I'm quite enjoying it. Performing Arts is also my hobby; I love to act, I play drums and I'm learning guitar. I want to be in a Harry Potter movie more than anything else in the world. I'm a pretty creative person, I like to write and read too. I really love music. I know everyone says that, but it really is a huge part of my life.
I'm absolutely obsessed with Paramore, Tegan & Sara, Uh Huh Her, Blondie, Muse, Japan, Jeff Buckley, Duran Duran and Adam Ant (he's my flipping hero). I adore the music that came out of the Punk and New Romantic (they knew how to dress, wow) scenes back in the 70's and 80's. I think Hot Fuss by The Killers is an absolute musical masterpiece and it's one of my favourite albums ever. The same goes for So Jealous by Tegan and Sara. Kiss the Rain by Billie Myers is one of the most amazing songs I have ever heard, and it's pretty much my favourite ever. Green Day will always be one of my all time favourite bands and the day I saw Echo and The Bunnymen live was one of the best of my life.
