this is it........ me in a nutshell, both personally and as a professional musician and drum tutor.
PROFESSIONALLY
I am a drummer of over 10 years experience in a variety of genres be it funk to folk, ska to soul or drum'n'bass to dancehall.I've played and/or recorded with a large number of acts. Some of my favourites are below with links to their MySpace pages so you can check them out.
I'm the fulltime drummer for two bands.
A punk band called WONK UNIT sounding like Descendents meets Dookie era Greenday and a rockabilly/ psychobilly group call HOT ROCKET TRIO

I'm MORE than inclined to throw myself into a gig and end up being used by various friends and artists for all occasions.
Gigs have included....... the mighty VON KLEET - think Foo Fighters meets the Police excellent frontman!!
SANDY SHARPE EXPERIENCE - acoustic blues with a serious edge of Hendrix
QADESH - 60's/70's prog madness with classical tinges masterminded by two of the most talented people I know
CAPTAIN ADEQUATE'S ALLSTARS - folk tunes with hints of ska and rock......and its my old man as well EXCELLENT!!
RE-PERCUSSION PROJECT - hitting junk with big sticks to samba and garage beats of madness!!
GENYIO - one of the UK's best kept soul and r&b voices.
BILL HARBOTTLE - Jeff Buckley with touches of Radiohead and jazz undertones
DRUMPULSE - a group who teach hand percussion to groups of anywhere between 30 to 1700 people at a time. Quite a sight to behold!
SEASONS FOR NOW - a group of lads I had the good fortune to record with on their first demo. Think classic Paul Weller meets Kasabian.
AXIS OF EVIL - a nasty industrial grindcore double bass onslaught of a band.

I have been teaching on and and off for the last 3 years but in the last 10 months it has now become a much bigger part of my life.
I teach in both local schools at various age ranges and also privately and am therefore CRB checked by the police.
